Welcome to my profile! My name is Kalia, and I am thrilled that you’ve stopped by.
Professionally, I spend time working with data to make data useful. Using a variety of analytical techniques, I uncover insights that inform product design, decisions for strategy and work prioritization, and improve business performance. I’ve worked in analytics consulting for a number of years before transitioning into product data science at Meta.
Personally, I am a new mom and novice blogger, committed to living a more sustainable life and resisting the urge to consume more than I really need. I volunteer my time with UN SDSN (Sustainable Development Solutions Network) Youth. Though time travels faster as a parent (or so I feel), I put effort to spend as much time outdoors, cook new healthy meals, and read a few pages of a book on my to-read list before I pass out every day.

Analytical Tools
I build self-serve analytical tools to surface insights, monitor performance and predict outcomes, across industries and business processes. I scope solutions and then build them with a toolkit in SQL, Tableau, Python, and Google Cloud Data Engineer certification, to name a few.
Project Execution
Consistently ranking top on project delivery company- wide, communication, empathy and human skills are my forte. I enjoy executing projects and managing stakeholders, and I won’t shy away from using (or building) tools to automate some of my work.
Product Development & Strategy
I reimagine products (mainly in analytics) that stretch both utility and usability. I stay attuned to customers’ needs today and their ambitions for tomorrow, made possible through research, candid interactions with users, and reflections on customer profiles and journeys.
Consulting & Client Management
From design to delivery, I partner with clients to define goals, build tools, implement tech, and become more insights driven. I’ve found success by building frameworks that simplify how we think about problems and adding more rigour to our processes and tools, while delivering with a work ethic that commits to quality and putting the customer first.
